• Space Planning - Do you have enough space between your island and your refrigerator? Planning is the foundation of any new or renovation project. A space plan is a layout of the pieces to any room or home. It affects the aesthetics, function and efficiency of the space. With years of space planning experience, we have the ability to make your space work like you want it to. A minimum of two computer generated plans will be presented for your consideration. We will discuss the benefits of each to help you make the best decision for the way you live.
• Drawings and Documentation - How do you know how much this is going to cost? Upon approval of the space plan, we will provide a computer generated dimensioned plan, elevations, and details as necessary for contractor bidding. These will also be emailed to you in a PDF format for your use and reproduction.
• Finish Selection - Wood or Tile? Granite or Marble? There are so many choices. We’ll make it easy. Taking your preferences into consideration, we then present three different color palettes for approval. We will educate you on the durability, maintenance and price point of each selection within the packages (packages or palettes?). Trends and sustainability will also be reviewed. Once the final palette has been approved we document all of the finishes and placement of each along with any patterns.
• Lighting - Is your dining room too dark? Do you wish you could dim the lighting in a room for watching TV? We will produce a computer generated reflected ceiling plan showing the placement of each recessed can, pendant, chandelier, track-light, wall sconce, and ceiling fan. Along with the layout we review options for fixture style and document your final selections.
• Furniture - Will my dining table fit in my new house? A computer generated furniture plan can show you what will fit in the space. We will provide at least two different options depicting the furniture you have, or explore purchasing new furniture. Recommendations will be made for reupholstering and reusing existing furnishings in other areas of the home. A complete furniture budget will be provided based on selections.
• Artwork and Accessories - Can’t find the perfect piece for a niche? We can assist you in selecting accessories and artwork to complete your style. We consider the overall look and present custom art by local artists within the Houston area as well as unique pieces sold to the trade only.
• Custom Bedding and Window Treatments - We will explore the various styles of window options from roman shades to decorative panels to establish the most appropriate design solution for your needs. Images, sketches and fabric options will be presented for custom window treatments and bedding to complete your desired look. Upon approval of design and fabric selection, a final estimate for fabrication and installment will be presented.
